FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME?

Our turnaround time varies on the jewellery chosen and the order size.
Each individual jewellery item has a rough turnaround time within the description, larger orders may take slightly longer but we aim to have your items delivered to you as soon as possible usually within 1-2 weeks.
If you require an order in a short time frame please get in touch and we will advise you as best as we possibly can.

WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY METHODS?

For any and all bereavement & keepsake items we always use a special delivery service. This provides me with end to end tracking and is guaranteed next day before 1pm, this method requires a signature. You will receive email/text updates on your order.

HOW DO I CHECK FOR UPDATES ON MY ORDER?

After placing an order you will be notified that a kit (if required) is on the way to you. You will also be updated upon the safe arrival of your returned kit and then when your order is ready to be collected or when it has dispatched. If you require any further updates, please feel free to get in touch and we can advise you.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY INCLUSION ITEM(S)?

All inclusion items provided by yourself are treated with the utmost care and respect. They remain in the sealed bag until I begin work on your jewellery. Any unused inclusion items are then resealed within the bag and returned to you with your order. This includes breastmilk once it has been dried, you can store this and reuse it for any future pieces you may require.

WHAT DO YOU USE TO MAKE THE JEWELLERY?

We use high quality uv stabilising resin & crushed bello opal. The resin we use contains uv stabilisers to prevent/delay yellowing from exposure to sunlight. extreme and frequent exposure to sunlight can cause dicolouration so we always discourage storing your jewellery in this manner. You do not have to include crushed opal within your jewellery, if you'd rather opt for a solid colour or have the ashes cast just as they are, this is always an option. Leave us a note when placing your order or get in touch. You can include as many opal colour choices as you like.

CAN I INCLUDE MORE THAN ONE INCLUSION IN A SINGLE PIECE OF JEWELLERY?

Of course you can, you can use ashes from more than one person within your jewellery. You are also more than welcome to include any combination of inclusions within one item. For example - combining ashes & hair, breastmilk & hair etc. Please leave us a note to indicate this and we can provide you with additional bags & tools for the extra inclusions. This does not incur any additional cost. If you'd like to include an additional item with breastmilk, please select the breastmilk kit and leave us a note to add the additional requirement, breastmilk jewellery includes a £5 surcharge to cover the costs of the drying and preserving process.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELLERY?

Most of our items are suitable for day to day wear, however, some of our rings include delicate pave set stones which can become loose over time, these items are recommended for occasion wear only. This will be specified within the jewellery description. We provide a mini polishing kit within orders of 925 sterling silver, this can be used on the silver areas of the jewellery, please avoid using this directly on the resin area. This area will buff clean without the use of polish. In order to keep your jewellery looking its best, please remove it whilst using harsh chemicals, applying perfume or lotions, swimming, showering or bathing or sunbathing.

ARE YOUR CHARMS COMPATIBLE WITH PANDORA BRACELETS?

Yes, our charms are compatible with pandora bracelets.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE THE JEWELLERY?

Any damage to the resin area of the jewellery can be fixed by us. If the damage is superficial scratches, this can ususally be fixed by casting a new layer of resin over the existing layer. More extreme damage to the resin area can sometimes result in a full recast of the jewellery. In these circumstances we will require you to send us some of your original inclusion item to us (ashes/hair/dried breastmilk/garment) please always ensure you always keep a small amount of these items for these circumstances. We will cover these damages free of charge from one year of purchase, Any damages outwith that time period will incur a small fee. We are not liable for stone loss from jewellery, a jeweller will be able to replace and reset stones for you.

CAN I HAVE MY JEWELLERY ENGRAVED?

We offer a variety of engraved items for clients who opt to not include ashes, hair etc. Many items that can include ashes are also able to be engraved on the reverse or inner ring band. Any items that are able to include engraving will have an option available within drop down options. You have a variety of font options available to choose from for standard words. Any custom engraving (handprints/footprints/fingerprints/personal handwriting/nose boops) must be clear and on plain white paper. Please be aware that smaller jewellery items will be limited as to what you can have engraved. There is an option to upload your custom engraving options via a link at the bottom of the site. HOW MUCH OF MY INCLUSION ITEM DO YOU REQUIRE?

This depends on the size of the jewellery/quantity ordered. We always ask for one full vial of any item to be returned to us, this allows us to use what we need and return any unused items to you. We can work with smaller quantities of your inclusion item but cannot work with less than 5ml of breastmilk.
